Tanya:
With a passion for
managing brands, I pursued this passion early on by studying Public Relations
from the Xavier’s Institute of Communication in Mumbai and was driven to
deliver the best branding experiences to consumers and brands in the industry
at the age of 21. I am a firm believer in the concept of ‘live and learn’.
Besides operating a full service brand-consulting firm, I like to spend my
leisure time in reading, participating in debates, scuba diving, practicing
karate and yoga.

I am celebrating
women’s day with all the beautiful women in my life who are multi-talented and
super strong – my team of fabulous women at id8 media solutions.

What is the most important message you want to send out to all the women around
the world on this occasion?

A woman has the most
extraordinary powers to change the world. Be aware of the power you have and use
it to make the world a better place for all around you.

What according to you is ‘women empowerment’?
What according to you is ‘women empowerment’?
Tanya:
To be empowered means
to have a quiet confidence, an inner strength and resolve that does not get shaken
by any external influences, to be super positive and to be goal oriented.

What would you say are the main challenges facing women at present in India?

Tanya:
The male hierarchy in
the business world. Stereotypical Indian male mindset that cannot fathom that a
woman can be right, the need of the Indian male to always overpower a female
and be in an alpha male position.

Where do you want to see yourself in next 5 years?

Tanya:
Taking id8 media
solutions globally as a consulting company, with offices in New York, London
and India. A successful mother with well nurtured children who will bloom in their
lives. To be an even better wife, daughter, sister and be a strong support for
those who are near and dear to me.
