Sukesha Mahesh Kadaba is the mother of
Welingkar Institute of Management’s alumni Komal
Kadaba.

Nutrezy creates healthy snack bars which are
available online on its website. Nutrezy
products are natural, healthy and made up of wholesome ingredients providing
the right nutrition through the day!

ST:
Please tell us briefly about you.

Sukesha: I do not come from an
entrepreneurship background, at 50 I decided to live my dream by creating a venture
which involved healthy snacking options for everyone;mainly Nutrition Bars.
Having a passion for creating healthy food for family and friends gave me a
vision to create our brand Nutrezy; coupled with my daughter Komal Kadaba, who
added her inputs while she completed MBA in Healthcare from WeSchool. Together
we are a team wanting to provide Natural, healthy snacking options through an
e-commerce portal of ours & reach customers needs directly.

ST:
Who is a woman that inspires you the most and why?

Sukesha: My mother foremost for teaching me
how to be an Independent woman, and seeing my daughter taking the same path
makes me happy. Sudha Murthy secondly for her simplicity and giving back to the
society.

ST:
How are you celebrating this year’s International Women’s Day?

Sukesha: I feel womanhood should celebrated
everyday. We celebrate everyday as we do what we love, would be like just
another happy day at our workplace working with my daughter and all our woman
employees.

ST:
What is the most important message you want to send out to all the women around
the world on this occasion?

Sukesha: For every woman it is very important
to first love herself & live her dream. Self-respect and Independence is
very important for every woman.

ST:
What according to you is ‘women empowerment’?

Sukesha: Women’s empowerment is intertwined
with respect for human rights. In our society women were not given the same
opportunity as men. It makes me immensely happy to see the change now and young
woman leaders taking main stage.

ST:
What would you say are the main challenges facing women at present in India?

Sukesha: The main challenge lies in changing
the mindset of the opposite gender.

ST:
Where do you want to see yourself in next 5 years?

Sukesha: The next five years we wish to
empower a lot more young and motivated girls and to help create Healthy food
products & make healthy shift in the mind of consumers.
