Startup Terminal interview series to mark the occasion of ‘International
Women’s Day’
Kolkata and completed my Bachelors in Economics from Yale University (New
Haven, USA). Always inclined towards art & culture, I joined my family
business after graduation. I started to administer the G.D. Birla Sabhagar (an
auditorium) which is owned by my family. I also pioneered a Performing Arts
organization named “Centre Stage Creations”. I am the Director of “Centre Stage
Creations” and our mission is to bring in interesting shows/talks from across
the country to Kolkata. We have also initiated a very successful annual theatre
festival known as the Sabhagar Theatre Festival. We are now looking at
producing new works of theatre to provide a platform for national and local
talent.

expand the production side of Centre Stage Creations to produce high budget,
high quality shows in Kolkata, which can then travel to other parts of the
country and abroad.
