space. IndiQube creates a right business environment for emerging companies to
thrive by providing space to grow with key growth drivers like scalability and
flexibility. It helps companies seamlessly expand and grow in the same location
without worrying about other hassles of searching, shifting for new space.

IndiQube’s
eco-system of growth lets companies concentrate on things that matter to their
business, by providing technology driven well-crafted and professionally
managed space infrastructure, employee facilities and partnered spaces. In-short,
companies only have to bring their laptops and start working without worrying
about the maintenance and other technical glitches.

a span of 24 months, IndiQube has over 11 IndiQube communes in different stages
of development, more than 80+ companies & over 3500 employees are working
out of Indiqube offices.

In
an exclusive interview with Startup
Terminal;
Rishi Das, Co-founder & MD of
Indiqube
shares more insights about the
venture and future plans.

Excerpts:

ST:
Please tell us more about your start-up.

Rishi
Das:
IndiQube is
in the business of providing productivity ready workspaces for Start- ups, SMEs
and ODCs. We at Indiqube create a right business environment for companies to
thrive by providing space to grow with key drivers like scalability and
flexibility. As part of the value proposition, IndiQube designs and delivers
enclosed office spaces, builds and manages common amenities such as cafeteria,

Bangalore and have over 80 clients like Bluestone, FreshMenu, LendingKart,
Cloudnine and Micromax.

We believe that technology driven workspaces is the future of workspace
industry which enables the people to collaborate and grow.

Rishi Das, Co-founder & MD of Indiqube
ST:
What was your idea/inspiration behind starting up a new venture in the
co-working space market?

Rishi
Das:
During my journeys as an entrepreneur, I realised starting
your own venture is the most courageous thing to do. Initial years of starting,
entrepreneur feel the need to connect, collaborate, grow and focus on core work
while growing his business. IndiQube was started keeping the Grow and Network
ethos in mind. Finding a platform where all your organization space needs are
taken care of while you focus on your company was a biggest challenge.

Start-ups /
SMEs end up either in some residential apartment / some old
commercial building or standalone buildings due to availability of limited
funds. These available spaces come with rigidity / no corporate branding / no
corporate ambience with lack of spaces to collaborate and network. IndiQube is
a means to office space and not an end in itself. While providing technology
platform to collaborate and grow, we provide customised interiors office spaces
with all value-added services to help companies to focus on their core work.

ST:
What are business opportunities in co-working space market in India?

Rishi
Das:
Bangalore is a startup capital of India and we believe that
it is the future of how our nation will grow.

With an estimated
15 million freelancers operating within the country, India is second only to
the United States in regards to the amount of active independent workers
worldwide, making it the perfect environment for a new coworking industry to
blossom.

While co-working
was initially adopted by freelancers and small teams (not bigger than 2-5
members). The trends are changing, co-working is the future, and big teams in
big businesses want a piece of it.

Corporate
employees are swapping suits for jeans and occupying desks at co-working spaces.
In tandem, co-working chains have emerged, offering slick operations.

ST: How has been
your entrepreneurship so far?

Rishi
Das:
Our journey has been incredible so far. In a span of 24
months, IndiQube has over 11 IndiQube communes in different stages of
development, more than 80+ companies & over 3500 employees working out of
our Indiqube Offices.

ST: What challenges
do you face in your day to day professional life, if any?

Rishi
Das:
People. Finding the right kind of people who are equally
passionate about the vision of Indiqube and believe in future is extremely
daunting task.

ST: How big is your
team? Are you planning to hire more?

Rishi
Das:
Currently our team strength is 50 and we are looking to
build it close to 100 by March 2018. We believe that Team and culture is
very important while building an organization.

ST: What are your future
plans?

Rishi
Das:
Our expansion is and will be multi-dimensional. Steps
been taken to increase our foot prints in Bangalore and other tier I and tier
II cities. Also we would be introducing varied products to fit in each and
every organization space needs helping them to become leaner and more
efficient.

We soon plan to
enter in Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune and Delhi.
