ST: Please tell us more about yourself.
Natasha Kalra: I am an
interior stylist who likes to collaborate with nature to create vivacious
design. Having successfully created simpler, cleaner and less encumbered
designs my objective has been to provide an ambience, a truly meaningful and
lasting impression on the very fabric of your lifestyle.

ST: Who is your biggest influence in life?
Natasha Kalra: Tradition
and culture bursting forth from the paintings of old masters – Renoir, Picasso,
Monet, Rembrandt and more had influenced me in my selection of eclectic
artefacts that have a timeless appeal. Everything today is reinterpretation of
the traditional school of thought. Even the most modern designs have roots in
the old school. I’m not interested in establishing a trend or following what
everyone else is doing but I am very conscious of the historical and cultural
precedence of a region.

ST: What challenges do you face in your day to day
professional life if any?
professional life if any?
Natasha Kalra: Having a
strong trademark style helps you to attract the clients you ultimately want to
work with and who trust what you do. The challenge then is to be able to
translate your style and trademark look into what the client wants, taking
their personal taste, culture and living habits into consideration.

ST: Where do you want to see yourself in next 5
years down the line?
years down the line?
Natasha Kalra: I will never
sacrifice comfort and liveability to achieve a certain look and want to be
always environmentally responsible. Style and design have impacted many people
due to home decorating shows and the ever increasing audience of design
magazine. My next goal is to reach to a wider audience through our website and
retail stores.
