Samara: I come from a business background that gave me the
foundation of starting a social enterprise however the loss of my mother
initiated the conceptualization of building a healthcare company. Right now I’m
in the process of bringing about a change in the way people perceive health and
the way healthcare is administered in India and around the world. My social
enterprise is called CARER Program is my absolute passion and pursuit at the
moment.

ST: Who is a woman that inspires you the most and why?
Samara: My
mother, as she epitomized a woman entrepreneur who shattered all norms and
built her own destiny. Oprah Winfrey who
uses the power of her words to encourage others to be the best expression of

ST: How are you celebrating this year’s International Women’s Day?
Samara: By being the best expression of myself and encouraging
women in my organisation and around me to do the same.

ST: What is the most important message you want to send out to all the
women around the world on this occasion?

Samara: We have the intuition, perseverance, power and
insatiable resilience to achieve greatness. If we allow ourselves to tap into
that, then nothing is beyond our creation.

Samara: Being the truest expression of yourself without
hesitation.

women at present in India?
