Founder of Digi Acai, is a forward-thinking SEO and Content Marketing
Specialist. With more than 11 years of experience in content marketing, she is
currently spearheading the Content Marketing and SEO team at Digi Acai. She
specialises in ideation for integrated campaigns, social media, influencer
marketing and organic content marketing.
Neha founded Digi Acai after realising
that Indian e-com startups need more than just package based standard SEO. They
need more help, handholding, advice and business oriented organic growth from
Search Engines. Within a short span of 7 months, her company has added about 30
clients and the team size has grown to 10. 90% of its clientele includes
e-commerce startups. Digi Acai plans to help at least 100 startups in their
Organic growth in the next one year.
In an exclusive interaction with
Startup Terminal; Neha Agarwal, Founder of Digi Acai shares more insights
about her venture, entrepreneurial journey and future goals.

ST: What was the idea behind launching
Neha: After engineering, luckily, I worked for 10+ years in
startups where I reported directly to founders and entrepreneurs. High
packages, big teams didn’t satiate my soul. I tried to startup 2-3 times along
with my job but things didn’t work out well. The zeal to do something which I
could call mine never died. So, I finally made this move to quit my full-time
role as SEO Head of POPxo and started my SEO agency Digi Acai.
ST: Please let us know more about Digi
Neha: Digi Acai was born after a realization that Indian e-com
startups need more than just package based standard SEO. They need more help,
handholding, advice and business oriented organic growth from Search Engines.
Within a short span of 7 months, we have about 30 clients and a team of 10
wonderful people and some freelancers. 90% of our clientele include e-commerce
startups. We plan to help at least 100 startups in their Organic growth in the
next one year. We also plan to build AI based tools only for SEO in the coming
months. We launched a couple of portals including gyansamadhan.com (lifestyle Hindi
magazine) and mummas.in (curated content for millennial moms). We plan to grow
these portals organically.
ST: Who are the main target audiences of
Neha: My ideal audience or I would say customers with whom Digi
Acai would be from the Ecommerce sectors and Lifestyle industry.

ST: How do you see Digi Acai in the next
2 years from now?
Neha: We see ourselves as a well-established, SEO Agency in
India known for their best services and quality deliverables. We want to become
a one-stop solution for anything related to SEO and content for startups. I
consider 2020 till mid of 2021 as the years to survive. In terms of revenue we
will want to achieve a target of 4-5 Cr by the end of 2022.
ST: Do you see any impact of COVID-19 on
Neha: We have e-com startup clients, so yes, we did face some
challenges as our clients’ businesses were halted during lockdown. But
businesses are investing more in sustainable growth through organic channels
after pandemic. So, we aren’t impacted much in terms of client acquisition. In
fact, we got many new clients during lockdown itself.
