ST: Who is a woman that inspires you the most and why?
Aarti: Indira Nooyi, in one of her interviews she mentions coming home
at 12 midnight to share the joy of being the CEO for Pepsi co. global , but is
sent down by her mom to buy milk! Her mom reminds her that you are not a CEO at
home! She inspires me with what she has achieved, how she has lived guilt free
fear free as a mother & a wife and a CEO!

ST: How are you celebrating this year’s International Women’s Day?
Aarti: I’m traveling with my gorgeous 5 year
old daughter Mahi to the Southernmost tip between Goa & Karnatake for 2
days off, literally living on a beach shack….far away from the luxury we are
used to. But close to living with nature. Literally with the sand and the
waves!

ST: What is the most important message you want to send out to all the

women around the world on this occasion?

ST: What according to you is ‘women empowerment’?
Aarti: I think there is nothing like women
empowerment, Society needs “Men empowerment” It’s because men usually don’t
step in to share home & family responsibilities , that women need this
empowerment to manage all 3. All the issues with women dressing also stem from
Men getting attracted because they can’t control their body or mind. Men need
to enjoy the liberty of freedom of thought but women can’t enjoy the liberty to
chase a dream, work hard & simply make their own choices.
