ST Bureau: When did you decide to take the path of
‘entrepreneurship’ as your career? Do you remember any special incident?

Rajesh Mundra: I always wanted to be an Entrepreneur
and immediately on completion of Chartered Accountancy course I started my
first company providing IT services in the city of Jaipur. I did not want to
join my father’s CA firm nor I wanted to go for a job and entrepreneurship was
the only thing that was on my mind. While undergoing my CA course I was
learning software coding and developing software and doing CA was just a
back-up plan though I passed out from CA with all India 50th Rank.

people spread out in Jaipur, Bangalore and Mumbai.

planning to attract funding in the near future?

Rajesh Mundra: No, we did not approach any Angel/VC
funds at the seed stage as the health and wellness sector was evolving and we
wanted to develop a comprehensive product that addresses the wellness eco
system holistically and not partially. We had funded this startup through a
combination of personal equity and debt from friends, family and some
institutions. We are now planning to raise a significant amount of capital as
we are looking for a major expansion not just in India in B2B space but also in
B2C and are soon entering the Middle East and Asia Pacific markets in B2B
space.

Rajesh Mundra: We want to be in top 3 wellness
technology companies from India with a global footprint. I would also like to
work with lot of new startups especially in mentoring and investing area. I am
currently the President of TiE Rajasthan for the second time and also part of
RAIN (Rajasthan Angel Investor Network) actively working for the development of
the start-up eco system at Jaipur.
