ST: According to you what is the biggest
environmental threat in the world at present?
Sumit: There are so many environmental threats, the most
important among that is the existence of humans. We tend to pollute Earth for
every single need of ours. We don’t value sustainable products and tend to buy
or use which is cheaply and easily available.

can do to help the environment?

Sumit: A common person can do so many things,
but forget that. At least we should pledge not to litter around us. Education
is not important, awareness is important.

present and future generations?

Sumit: Message to everyone- it’s better late than never, start
from today and pledge not to litter for next one year. Use only reusable or
products that can be recycled!

ST: What is the significance of ‘World
Environment Day’ at the present time?

Sumit: Significance of World Environment day has changed a lot in
last 10 years. I remember, it used to be a day on GK books in early 90’s, it’s
a festival now. We are celebrating it and more over on this day we are
evaluating how we helped Mother Earth last year.
