Dhruti: I
am the Founder of Love Doodle, a Celebration Management and a Gifting
Enterprise. We strongly believe that every occasion needs a special celebration
which we bring through experiential gifting and handpicked products. From idea
to execution we ensure that our customers create unforgettable memories for
life.

I come from a family of service class
people with near to zero connection with business and from being a corporate
lawyer to an entrepreneur the journey has been an amazing one. My initial work
phase of 10 years was in corporate legal and I have worked across industries
like FMCG, Investment Banking, Oil & Gas, Media & VAS but my real
calling was in the field of celebrations & gifting where I could spread
happiness and create a stronger bond amongst the people. It wasn’t easy to
leave a well paying job to pursue my passion but with immense support from my
husband and undertaking professional coaching on business from NMIMS I surely
am garnering the ropes of entrepreneurship.

ST: Who is a woman that inspires you the most and why?
Dhruti: My mother who is a natural entrepreneur and teaches me new
things day in day out from managing her duties to making time for herself she
is a role model and secondly I look up to all those women who are making
efforts in creating a better and a self dependent life for herself.

ST: How are you celebrating this year’s International Women’s Day?

spreading happiness! It is not just about one day but since there is a special
date dedicated to the Women we have organized some fun and relaxation
activities at two corporate offices and I will be joining them in the
celebrations.

ST: What is the most important message you want to send out to all the
women around the world on this occasion?

There is nothing in this world that can stop you, all you need to do is realize
your innate potential, take a leap of faith and start moving towards creating a
stronger and a better You both professionally and personally.

ST: What according to you is ‘women empowerment’?
Dhruti: Giving
every woman a healthy environment to choose the path which interests them and
helping them to excel is the best way to Empower Women. When women get the
Right to Choose and do things at their own free will instills confidence in them
to progress further.

ST: What would you say are the main challenges facing women at present
in India?

thought process of society which expects women to be primarily responsible for the
well-being of home & family and their professional commitments are
secondary needs to definitely change. Also, women need to support fellow women
whether it is home or office, don’t compete with each other but look forward to
collaborate, grow together and move ahead in life.

see Love Doodle operating in more cities and touching lives of at least
