Abu Dhabi, UAE, July 19, 2020 – Abu Dhabi Capital Group (ADCG) today announced the planned departure of IMKAN Properties CEO and confirmed that Walid El Hindi has decided to step down from his role to pursue his own interests, after five years leading the Abu Dhabi-based property development company.

Under his leadership, IMKAN has grown to have offices in Abu Dhabi, Egypt and Morocco and has successfully launched 6 master planned communities with 11 projects completed or currently under construction. Amongst his most significant achievements, IMKAN saw a 300 per cent year-on-year increase in sales across its collection of projects last year. His commitment and vision have put IMKAN in a strong position to move forward to the next phase of its success story and I would like to wish Walid the very best for the future.”
In addition to his role as CEO of IMKAN Properties, Walid held the position of board member and Managing Director of IMKAN Misr, board member of HHRM, an international hotel management company as well as being on the executive committee for IMKAN Moroc.
A new CEO for IMKAN Properties will be announced shortly. In line with his dedication to the organization Walid will be staying on to ensure a smooth and seamless transition.
