New Delhi, India, July 16, 2020- CBRE South Asia Pvt. Ltd., India’s leading real estate consulting firm today announced the appointment of Parimal Galvankar as the Head of People (HR) for India. 

In his new role, Galvankar will oversee CBRE’s pan India human resources activities related to talent acquisition/recruitment, training and development, performance management, organization development, diversity, compensation and benefits that will impact a workforce of more than 10,000 professionals across 10 offices in India.

Galvankar on joining CBRE South Asia Pvt. Ltd. as Head of People function in India said, “I look forward to working with CBRE South Asia leadership to develop and implement a forward-looking HR strategy that will support our business, cultivate leadership, maximize diversity and further position CBRE as an employer of choice.”
With over 22 years of experience spanning across geographies and cultures, Mr. Galvankar brings extensive domain knowledge, strong focus on client outcomes and broad operational experience to his new role.

Galvankar has rich professional experience of 22+ years across multiple industries (IT, Agrochemical and Automotive) with Indian and global multinationals. He has worked in Learning & Development, Recruitment/Talent Acquisition, Organization Development, Compensation and Business Partner HR functions. He has lived and worked in multiple cities in India, has APAC experience and also completed a 2 year stint at the IBM global HQ in NY, USA.

He is a gold medallist in Personnel Management, Industrial Relations and HRD from Mumbai (Bombay) University. He also holds a PGCBM from XLRI, Jamshedpur and SPHR and GPHR certifications from HRCI, USA.

Galvankar joins CBRE South Asia Pvt. Ltd. from Syngenta AG, a Swiss MNC and a global leader in agrochemicals and seeds. At Syngenta AG, Parimal headed HR function for the India business, the APAC Shared Services Centre and the global Chemical Research Lab at Goa.
