ST: Please tell us more about yourself.
Ritu Gupta: I am the
Co-founder & COO of Trak N Tell. My chief responsibilities in the company
include overseeing the various operations in customer care, marketing, finance,
administration and procurement. My skillsets primarily lies in Business strategy
development, Management, and Legal Research.

Being a Law graduate, I was an integral part of the Bank of America –
one of world’s largest financial institutions. As a Personal Banker & Team
Lead – Customer Care, HNI Vertical, I was in charge of managing accounts of
HNIs (High Net worth Individuals), and also supervised client retention
processes; amongst other responsibilities.

When not working, I enjoy practicing Yoga, and love to travel &

ST: Who is your biggest influence in life?
Ritu Gupta: I would say
my mother was the biggest inspiration in my life. She was an entrepreneur like
me and she started an NGO where she and her team planted thousands of trees in
villages. She also had educated many women in the villages so that they can
have a better livelihood. Her undying spirit of moving ahead in life
irrespective of challenges and hardships, with a smile on her face, was
something that I admired the most in her.

ST: What challenges do you face in your day to day

Ritu Gupta: The most
daunting challenge is that, heading a business makes it extremely difficult to
balance the professional and the personal life. There is always so much to do
and so little time, on both fronts.

Talking about the business, there were initial hiccups that we faced
while starting up, which I guess is something that everybody faces while
venturing out. The way a founder handles such events defines the success of the
startup in the long run.

ST: Where do you want to see yourself in next 5
years down the line?

Ritu Gupta: We are
perfectly poised for growth now and we want to be the leading IoT platform in
India with more than 100,000 devices, over the next 5 years.

Trak N Tell, an IoT startup providing sophisticated vehicle telematics
solutions is an extension of a leading automotive telematics Tech enterprise,
Bits N Bytes Soft Private Limited. We already have a strong customer base in
China, USA, Europe, and Africa. With our current focus in Delhi/NCR region, we
plan to gradually expand our reach to other cities and hope to gain strong
foothold in major metropolitan areas by the end of this year. Besides, we have
several extremely interesting plans for the Indian automotive market which we
will announce in the due course of time.

successful women the world over have shown, we are lesser to none. We are
mothers at home and bosses at office, we are leaders elsewhere. Look around and
you will see these extraordinary humans displaying everyday – what they are
capable of. We are superwomen who go that extra mile every day to create a
balanced eco system, be it at work or at home.
