Name: Minash Bablani

ST: Please tell us briefly about you.

Minash: Born and raised in Bahrain, educated in the UK. Always keen to start my career in Mumbai given the hustle bustle of life and the burst of energy in the city. There was no other place I wanted to begin the journey of turning my dreams into reality. In appreciation for the woman of the 21st century and her hustle, Ellement Co. was founded with the purpose to provide Ergonomic Essentials in all aspects of a woman’s life in the categories of self-care, mama and baby, everyday solutions, luxury gifting, business support which all strive to ensure #MoreLifeLessRush. Ellement Co. is my first passion project, currently with my second one in the pipeline and I can’t wait to see where this journey takes me!

ST: Who is a woman that inspires you the most and why?

Minash: Every woman around me, that I work with in my team everyday, inspire me. I love to watch the dedication with which every task is completed and plans are executed. Despite of whatever goes on in everyone’s personal life, they are all there with a smile, moving things forward, striving for their personal growth and Ellement Co.’s professional growth. To me, that is true inspiration, baby steps everyday to achieve your big dreams.

ST: How are you celebrating this year’s International Women’s Day?

Minash: I will spending this Women’s Day with my lovely team over a fun lunch to celebrate our achievements thus far. Catch us on InstaStories @ellementcompany to see what we are up to!

ST: What is the most important message you want to send out to all the women around the world on this occasion?

Minash: Don’t be afraid to pursue your passion, its hard and it takes longer than expected, always. But just keep moving forward.

ST: What according to you is ‘women empowerment’?

Minash: Women empowerment to me is inspiring change and instilling new values in both men and women to respect each other.

ST: What would you say are the main challenges facing women at present in India?

Minash: I feel like women sometimes go into a shell and fear their male counterparts and always look for validation in decisions from them, that needs to stop and individuality needs to thrive.

ST: Where do you want to see yourself in next 5 years?

Minash: As much as I love the online world, I do believe I would like to look into being offline, opening retail stories and most importantly one of my passion projects is setting up small franchise models around India which will be run by local women to empower them through management, critical thinking and challenges that business throw in your way to encourage women working in rural parts of India.
