Dubai, UAE, March 1, 2021: Nightingale Health Services has opened a dedicated physiotherapy centre in Dubai’s Gold & Diamond Park. The 2,000 sq ft. facility will be staffed by a team of physiotherapists and a chiropractor, offering treatment for musculoskeletal and cardio-respiratory conditions, sports injuries, neurological diseases, post-surgery rehab, pre and post-natal, elderly, and paediatric patients. Physiotherapy focuses on alleviating pain and restoring functional movement, and physical therapy options include Pilates, lymphatic drainage, and sports massage.
Nightingale’s physiotherapy clinic is the latest addition to its health hub, which also provides midwifery support, sleep training, and baby massage. Founded as Nightingale Home Nursing in 2016 by British-trained nurse Anna Mellor, the company was renamed Nightingale Health Services in 2019 to reflect its growing range of support from a specialised team of health professionals.
Founder & CEO, Anna said: “since launching Nightingale five years ago, the way we have evolved has been incredibly rewarding. My original aim was to introduce a level of community care and support that was missing in the UAE. We quickly became a trusted private home care provider growing our team of DHA-licensed nurses from eight to 48, with plans to recruit another 20 during 2021.
“When feedback from clients and the wider community showed they were looking for a broader range of services from us outside of the home, we opened our health hub. Despite the challenges brought by periods of lockdown and subsequent restrictions, the demand for expert in-clinic care is greater than ever, and we have an amazing team in place to take things forward with more exciting developments to come.”
