Name: Radhika Raichura
Age: 35 years
City: Mumbai
Occupation: CEO at Infin8

ST: Please tell us briefly about you.

Radhika: I have more than 5
years of experience in Sales, Business Development, Operations and Strategic
Account Management. I desire to learn & improve the work techniques and
help Infin8 achieve new heights with my sincere efforts. With this, I am a
sound believer of balancing work life and personal life, as this balance, helps
in determining success as well as happiness.

ST: Who is a woman
that inspires you the most and why?

Radhika: The woman who inspires me the most is
Indra Nooyi of her ferocity and incredible upward progress in the business
world. Her life story encourages us as women to push ourselves to new levels in
the business world, and to remember that all barriers can be broken in both
personal and professional life.

ST: How
are you celebrating this year’s International Women’s Day?

Radhika:
Hindu
scriptures define women as the embodiment of ‘Shakti’ and she lives up to image
every time, whether it is problem solving at home or running a successful
business. This year, on International Women’s Day, I wish to use my network to
mentor women around me who deserve an acknowledgement. I wish to help them in
developing their versatile abilities, eloquence and problem solving skills.

ST: What is the
most important message you want to send out to all the women around the world on
this occasion?

Radhika:
A woman
is a mother, a daughter, a wife, a sister, a friend, a nurturer and a guiding
light. She has always played multiple roles and lived up to every expectation
that the society burdens her. On this International Women’s Day, I really want women
to overcome their self-imposed restrictions and explore the freedom that they
really have. Self-imposed restrictions are a result of our own beliefs based on
the conditions that are either directly or indirectly imposed on us. This will
help them identify and explore their hidden potential.

ST: What according
to you is ‘women empowerment’?

Radhika:  Empowerment is not about the money you
earn but the human you are and you help others become. I have a strong belief
that women empowerment begins at home. As a mother, it is my first duty to give
my kids all the tools that help them in becoming empowered human beings. A
woman should never take her role at home as a burden but as a power which helps
her to set an example by nurturing and empowering the future of her family.

ST: What would you
say are the main challenges facing women at present in India?

Radhika:
Women
don’t help women enough.
Women are more into counting someone
else’s blessings and sorrows rather than focussing on theirs. The natural
instincts of jealousy, hatred and insecurity is what makes a woman judgemental
about another woman. Politics, cultures, society, religion and all systems
discriminate against women. But that is not an excuse for us women to be
against one another. I think we should change the whole approach of supporting
each other as women and should look beyond these barriers.

ST: Where do you
want to see yourself in next 5 years?

Radhika: I believe the depth of knowledge
required to build a business from scratch with customers, revenues, and profits
is rapidly increasing in India and I am proud to be a part of it. In the next 5
years, I see Infin8 as the number 1 portal offering customized financial
solutions to the customer.
