Twigly, an online food brand that serves global cuisine to your
doorstep, has expanded its services in Delhi. The Company, which already runs
two kitchens in Gurgaon and delivers 250+ orders a day, now intends to expand
its customer base and is targeting 500 orders per day in the next few months.
The Company has already created a mark for itself in Gurgaon by being the next
generation food brand, whose primary focus is to build a supply chain around
freshness.

Founded in August 2015 by Sonal Minhas, Rohan Dayal & Naresh Kumar
Kachhi, Twigly emphasizes on-demand delivery of an eclectic spread of quality
and fresh food. It works on an online food ordering model: Its assembly
kitchens are best-in-class in terms of quality of people and standard of
hygiene. For its users, The Company has created a unique algorithm whereby the
app can predict what a user would like to eat/order. Twigly’s unique marketing
and customer experience appeals to the modern customer and has led to repeats
as high as 70% on a daily basis.

“We are excited to grow to food capital of India – Delhi, now. Our
experience says that Delhi & NCR steals the deal when it comes to ordering
food at the tap of your mobile. We are targeting to serve about 1000 orders per
day in the next three quarters in Delhi. Our focus would be aimed at the
quality of food and best in class ordering experience. Since we are not
constrained by prime real estate, we are over investing in quality, people and
hygiene. Within a short span of operation, we have earned a customer base of
10,000 people which in itself is an achievement, and we see it growing month on
month. We aspire to scale-up
to US$30 million in sales in the next 3–4 years
” said, Sonal Minhas,
Co-founder of Twigly.

Apart from its retail operations
in sandwiches, pastas and pizza, Twigly plans to start a new product line of
dips and shakes
which would be available online and through
modern retail format.
